It's Been a Long Time...

since I last wrote for my blog.

I was a little discouraged for some reason I am not willing to elaborate here. Thought a lot of things through and decided I should just be doing what I wanted to do regardless of ANY circumstances. Now, I'm back with a... vengeance?

For my return, I would start off with sharing you my BIG WINNER for the BIG NIGHT of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Clash of 2010. My big winner doesn't really have to be poor to deserve the prize; doesn't have to do well in any task; doesn't even have to be gorgeous or good-looking. There's no national issue here, or if there is, I'm totally ignoring it. Shoot me now if you will because for the first time in my life I'm forgetting about my Filipino pride and I am so rooting for a foreign contestant in a Filipino reality show.

I believe other housemates are deserving too on their own right BUT my big winner is the ONLY housemate who made me watch PBB again after the very first edition. Not even the MELASON tandem got me hooked up. I was watching Survivor Philippines Palau that time, was a Mika fan.

So LILY now, who else do you think should I cast my vote for? It has to be no other than the young man who made me roll on the floor laughing every night. OMAYGAD, DI BA?^_^

Here to wish Ryan Bang the best of luck this Saturday night at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo. "I was so relieved you made it to the big night and I'm looking forward to you being hailed the majority's big winner. You have no idea how much of a help you had been to many. Some are even claiming you are driving them away from their lowest point in a day and so they want to return the favor to you by making you happy at the end of the show. Congratulations in advance. Thank you for the never ending laughters and happy viewings."

If you want to have a big Bang experience, just click on this link from Tumblr. Trust me, you won't regret it.^_~ Go and give yourself a treat. Have a good laugh, everyone.

Our Heavy Metal Valentine's with Trivium

After our "most brutal Metal Event of the past year" with Arch Enemy, Philippines will be swayed again by another international heavy metal act hailing from the State of Florida. The quartet of American heavy metal band, Trivium, who brought us "A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation", "Dying in Your Arms", "And Sadness Will Sear", a personal favorite of mine and of course, the well known "Pull Harder on the Strings of your Martyr", will land on our humble abode to witness the Manila style of thrashing.^_~

Hold it! I know you don't want me to miss "Kirisute Gomen", from their latest work, "Shogun", which marked the return of screaming vocals. The said album is also by far "the best" according to many fans. Matt Heafy himself said on its release last 2008 that it's "going to crush anything they've ever done". It's still breaking records so no news of new album for the band yet.

Currently, they are preparing for their UK tour supported by Chimaira and Rise to Remain AND I'm surprised Heafy just got married, heheheh... BUT mark your calendar already local metal heads. After their Jakarta, Indonesia gig on the 11th of next month, we'll experience our first heavy metal Valentine's with Trivium on February 13th at A-venue Hall, Makati Avenue, Makati City. Be there early to catch performances by our very own bands Valley of Chrome and Slapshock. Gates will open at 7PM and show will start at exactly 8PM.
